Vernon Camp - Executive Director/Wastewater Circuit Rider

Vernon Camp has been with the Association since January 2001. For his first 10 years, Vern was the Tribal Circuit Rider. He is now a Wastewater Circuit Rider. He has now taken over as interim Executive Director of RWAA.

Vernon has over 19 years of experience as Supervisor of facilities and systems in water and wastewater maintenance and construction, and as a pipefitter Foreman. Over the past 10 years with the Rural Water Association of Arizona, Vern has used his experience and knowledge to provide technical assistance to help Tribal and non-Tribal water and wastewater systems throughout the State of Arizona. Vern holds all of ADEQ's Operator Certifications in water and wastewater and is a certified Backflow assembly tester as well as a certified Flagger instructor. Vern also  holds a college teaching certificate in Arizona. Vern has been recognized as a leader in Arizona when it comes to providing one–on-one technical assistance.

Vern is a certified Scuba diver and loves to dive in Cozumel, Mexico every year.
