ASSA 7th - 9th Grade Competitive League Volleyball Rules

1. All Games are played to 25 points and you must win by 2 points 
2. All matches will be 2 out of 3 games. The 3rd game is to 15 points.
3. A coin flip will determine the server for the first game. (If there is a 3rd game in the match, a second coin flip will be made to determine who serves.

4. All games will be rally score
5. When serving: You are allowed to serve anywhere behind the end line or the 6 - feet in line (for players that are not able to get their serve over from the end line). You cannot be on or over the line when you strike the ball. The server is allowed 8 seconds only to serve the ball.  If you are whistled for time violation, you will lose service.
6. When playing under the net, you will be allowed to be on the center line, but not over it. You are not allowed the touch the net at any time.

7. You may start a game with 5 players
8. You will get 2 (30 seconds) time-outs per game.
9. You will get 2-minute intermission between games
10. You will get 2-4-4 warm-up time between games. (2 min. - shared; 4 min. - hitting and serving each team on their own)
11. You will be allowed 2 coaches on the bench
12. Only the captains will be allowed to address the officials. Yelling at players, other coaches or the officials will not be tolerated. If you can't keep yourself under control, you will not coach in this league.

13. We are using Arkansas Athletic Association rules.
14. There are 12 substitutions allowed. You must use the Arkansas Athletic Association rules for substitutions.
