Women to Watch is a biennial exhibition program developed specifically for the National Museum of Women in the Art's national and international outreach committees, one of which is the Arkansas State Committee. Every
two years an exhibition is held at the National Museum of Women in the
Arts that features a curated selection of emerging and underrepresented
women artists submitted by the committees. The theme for Women to Watch 2010 is contemporary figurative painting; the exhibition will feature work by eight artists, including Arkansas's Nikki Hemphill. The exhibition dates are July 2-September 12, 2010. The opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, July 8th in Washington D.C.
